A warm spring day
Jack-Jack has decided he is not keen on water on his walk. He avoids stepping in the river or the finger ponds. He doesn't like going out in the rain and grumbles loudly. BUT... show him a hosepipe and he's a different little dog. He adores leaping in and out of the spray, barking and dancing. It's one of the best games EVER! My husband was watering in the greenhouse and checking out his seedlings this morning and Jack-Jack arrived for a play.

Children are much the same, I seem to remember...
ReplyDeleteI used to chase my children with the hosepipe too and they loved it, better than a bath anyday. We had a Malmute pup called Tipsoo back in the 80's who loved playing in the ocean, (Pacific) he'd leap around in the big waves biting at the white foam and make himself sick, then sulk and whine when we dragged him away to go home. Has Jack-Jack been to the beach yet?
